A Magical Chinese New Year Celebration at Disneyland Hongkong
Still looking for a place to spend the Chinese New Year? Why not bring the whole family to Disneyland Hongkong?
Disneyland Hongkong promises to welcome the Year of the Dog in a magical Chinese New Year celebration: thundering drum beats, swirling dragon dancers, and blossoming flowers (spring is in the air, too!) will add up to a unique Chinese New Year’s treat!
And if you’re looking for a traditional feast, check out the buffet Chef Mickey of Disney’s Hollywood Hotel has prepared: braised broccoli with crab meat, braised duck feet with black mushrooms and lettuce, pan-fried prawn in tomato sauce. And for the real gourmet adventurers, be sure to sample the “soup of fortune and big profit”: dried oysters, black moss, pig’s tongue and lotus root! And if you do, drop me a line and tell me how it’s like, ok?
For more information, check out Disneyland Hongkong’s webpage. The celebration will run from January 29 to February 12, 2006.
